When Woodstock Lumber opened in 1886, deliveries were made by horse and wagon. Through the Great Depression, the Great Recession, two World Wars, and 30+ presidents, we have endured as a trusted facet of the Woodstock, IL community. A lot has changed in 136 years–for one, we no longer deliver on horseback–but serving our community remains our top focus.

In over a century there have been many changes in the construction industry, from building techniques and materials to zoning requirements. At Woodstock Lumber, we’ve made it our goal to both stay up-to-date on the industry trends and to help educate our contractors and community on the changes.
